Sepax2 has been proven to consistently yield high cell recovery rates. It can deliver a total nucleated cell recovery rate of over 85%. CAP Accreditation

The College of American Pathologists (CAP) is a leading organization of board-certified pathologists, serves patients, pathologists and the public by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine worldwide. With the requirements met, Cellsafe has been awarded with this prestigious accreditation.

To fulfill the requirements of CAP accreditation are developed based on more than 50 years of insight and pathology expertise. The quality of the CAP checklists is a result of the expertise and collaboration of pathologists and laboratory professionals.

• The checklists include living blueprints, used by laboratories and inspectors to ensure quality and safety.
• The CAP accreditation checklists are updated yearly to reflect technology current practices and technologies.
• Checklists provided for inspection preparation are customized based on the services offered by the laboratory.

ISBT 128 System

Cellsafe adopt ISBT 128 system to prevent sample mix-up, which is the global standard for the terminology, identification, coding, and labeling of medical products of human origin (including blood, cell, tissue, and organ products). It is used in more than 75 countries across six continents and disparate health care systems. ISBT 128 provides international consistency to support the transfer, traceability, and transfusion/transplantation of blood, cell, tissues, and organs.

The ISBT 128 system offers many more specific codes and allows for more information to be coded in a small space. With ISBT 128, each blood product is given a unique donation identification number that includes an assigned collection facility code. This allows every product to be identified and tracked anywhere in the world. It thereby enhances standardization and simplifies the transfer of blood product information between facilities. It also included an internal check digit to prevent barcode misreads and provides a standard labeling format that ensures a consistent layout of product labels with these barcode.
